What documents are required to rent a car?
To rent a vehicle from Riva Car, you must present a valid driving license (with at least 2-3 years of experience depending on the vehicle class), a valid identity document (passport or ID card) and a credit or debit card for blocking the required deposit.
Can I rent a car outside office working hours?
Yes, we offer an out-of-hours delivery service. If your flight lands late in the evening or early in the morning in Sofia, Varna or Burgas, our representative will meet you at the airport with a prepared contract and a road-ready vehicle. A small additional fee may apply for this service.
What is included in the car rental price?
All our standard prices include: unlimited mileage within Bulgaria, paid vignette fee (BG Vignette), mandatory third-party liability insurance and standard damage coverage with excess. You can also request an additional full protection package (Super Theft and Damage Protection) when contacting our agents.
Is it possible to travel abroad with a car from Riva Car?
Yes, we offer an option to travel across the border to neighboring countries (Greece, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Turkey) after prior agreement and issuance of authorization. Contact our office at least 3 working days before the rental so we can prepare the necessary international documentation.
